Call for Art

Paradiso is a nationally juried physical exhibition held at the Weil Gallery at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi on March 30, 2024. Apply to show your work. RisoRama is looking for artists to exhibit work in the national juried physical exhibition, Paradiso. Exhibition is an open theme of riso printed art including prints, posters, zines, books, animations, etc. This exhibition is juried by Secret Riso Club.

Call For Art Details

  • RisoRama is hosting a new national juried exhibition, Paradiso, at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi’s Weil Gallery. The exhibition will include a variety of riso printed art. This call is open to any subject matter. Entries must be submitted by February 26, 2024 @ 11:59PM.

  • A non-refundable fee of $15 will be charged for each entrant. This fee allows for a maximum of 3 works to be considered for this exhibition. An entry fee does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition.

  • The work will be shipped at the responsibility of the lending artist. Work must be framed, wired, or otherwise ready for exhibition. Jurors are Secret Riso Club

  • Awards will include a $150 First Place, $100 Second Place, $50 Third Place, and 3 non-cash Honorable Mentions.

    Open to any artist over 18 years of age living within the United States. The works must be riso printed.

  • Please upload files at 72dpi, 1500 px on the longest side, and as a .jpg. Label your files with your Firstname_Lastname_artwork title (Canchola_Alexandria_Paradiso).

    Physical accepted artwork must be ready for gallery presentation. Artwork, including the frame, should not exceed 60 inches in dimension.

  • Reasonable care will be given to artwork while in the custody of RisoRama. Insurance through shipping is up to the responsibility of the artist. RisoRama will not assume responsibility for damage or deterioration incurred before or after the exhibition or for a possible loss in transit.

  • All works must be received by March 13, 2024. C.O.D. Deliveries will not be accepted. All works must include a prepaid return label. Works must be shipped in reusable packing containers. Hand-delivered items must be scheduled with RisoRama co-creators Joshua Duttweiler and/or Alexandria Canchola. Return of artwork will begin April 7, 2024.

  • We will not be selling work at the exhibition. Interested parties may contact the artist directly to arrange a a sale. RisoRama reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries in catalogs, press releases, social media, and on their websites.
