2026 Call for Art

Paradiso is an international juried physical exhibition held this year at the Maxwell Gallery in Downtown Corpus Christi, Texas on October 2-November 11, 2026.
Riso-Rama is looking for artists to exhibit in the annual open theme of riso printed exhibition, including prints, posters, zines, books, animations, etc.

Call For Art Details
A non-refundable fee of $15 will be charged for each entrant. This fee allows for a maximum of 3 works to be considered for this exhibition. An entry fee does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition.
August 21, 2026 — Entry submissions due
August 25, 2026 — Artists notified of acceptance
September 15, 2026 — Accepted works must arrive (shipping deadline)
October 2, 2026 — Paradiso opens at Riso Rama
November 13, 2026 — Exhibition closes
November 16, 2026 — Return shipping of works beginsThe work will be shipped to and from Riso Rama at the responsibility of the lending artist. Framed work must be wired, or otherwise ready for exhibition. Framing is not required and not encouraged for international participants. This year's juror is Kate Bingaman -Burt, Outlet PDX.
Please note that all works must be riso printed or incorporate riso printing! If we receive non-riso printed works, we will, unfortunately, be unable to display them and ship them back until after the event is over.Awards will include a $250 First Place, $150 Second Place, $50 Third Place, $100 Student Prize and 3 non-cash Honorable Mentions.
Open to any artist over 18 years of age.
Please upload files at 72dpi, 1500 px on the longest side, and as a .jpg. Label your files with your Firstname_Lastname_artwork title (Alexandria_Canchola_Paradiso).
Physical accepted artwork must be ready for gallery presentation. Artwork, including the frame, should not exceed 60 inches in dimension.
Reasonable care will be given to artwork while in the custody of Riso-Rama. Insurance through shipping is up to the responsibility of the artist. Riso-Rama will not assume responsibility for damage or deterioration incurred before or after the exhibition or for a possible loss in transit.

All works must be received by August 21, 2026, 11:59PM CT. All works must include a prepaid return label. Works must be shipped in reusable packing containers. Hand-delivered items must be scheduled with Riso-Rama co-creators Joshua Duttweiler and/or Alexandria Canchola. Return of artwork will begin after the closing of the exhibition.
We will not be selling work at the exhibition. Interested parties may contact the artist directly to arrange a sale. Riso-Rama reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries in catalogs, press releases, social media, and on their websites.
Kate Bingaman-Burt illustrator, educator, and daily drawer based in Portland, Oregon. Kate has been drawing every day since 2006, and her work explores memory, consumption, and connection, usually through zines, objects, and Risograph printing.
Kate teaches at Portland State University, where she heads up the Graphic Design program. She also founded Outlet in 2017, a community print space now run with co-owner Leland Vaughan. Outlet is home to a RISO studio, a zine library, and a rotating lineup of workshops and events.
